EJC 2006 in Millstreet
|EJC 2006 Millstreet - Setup
Since friday the 7th the organizers and many volunteers were busy setting up the convention site - rising up big tops, decorating the hall, setting up the registration... and on saturday preventing the big tops from flying away.
|EJC 2006 Millstreet- Sunday
The first day of the convention! Just in time the sun came out and Ireland greeted the jugglers with a nice warm summerday. And there were plenty things to see and do - discovering the site, watching the world-cup final and a great opening show featuring KUKA and Kris Kremo.

Meanwhile it's Monday in Millstreet and all gyms are open. The convention starts running with the first open stage hosted by Luke Burrage. All interested jugglers could visit the town in a workshop held by a local.

Good news to everyone: next years EJC will most likely be held at the olympic site in Athens in the end of July, and Karlsruhe was confirmed as the hosting city of EJC 2008 (2. - 10. august). Besides, there was lots of sun and the first renegade in the big top!
|EJC 2006 Millstreet - Wednesday
Right now there are about 1829 jugglers in Millstreet - not only from Europe, but also from USA, New Zealand, Japan, Canada...
Today there were several shows and two live bands playing, so even if the sun wasn't shining nobody could complain about a lack of entertainment.
|EJC 2006 Millstreet - Thursday
Thursday, the day of the volleyclub-tournament: 20 teams competed for the title of the european volleyclub champion. And there was a first toss-up especially for the SKY-NEWS helicopter who visited the convention...
|EJC 2006 Millstreet - Friday
It has been a sunny friday here in Millstreet and so most of the convention life took place outside. After the open stage jugglers had the choice between the fireshow and the EuroVision Juggling Contest...
|EJC 2006 Millstreet - Saturday
The last day of the convention, and what a day! With bright sunshine, the parade through Millstreet and the games were a lot of fun for everybody who joined in. And afterwards there was the gala show - featuring Sergei Ignatov!
|EJC 2006 Millstreet - Departure
All too soon the convention is over - no more shows, no more parades, no more silly juggling games in Millstreet... not many pictures either because we had to catch the 12 o'clock flight from Kerry.
But a big THANK YOU to the EJC team for a great convention!
